Conﬁguring the Adapter

You use the

Setup

program to configure the adapter. The program is on the

Asanté EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter Driver Diskette.

This section shows you how to start the Setup program from DOS. The

instructions assume you’re using drive A: for the installation diskette.

Insert the Asanté EtherPaC 2000+ Adapter Driver Diskette into

drive A:.

From the DOS command line, type the following:

A:SETUP

Press Enter.

A screen appears showing the board model.

Press Enter to continue.

A screen appears titled Note About Setup.

Press any key to continue.

The Setup program searches for the EtherPaC 2000+ adapter.

A screen appears showing three options:

CONFIG BOARD 1

❏

DIAGNOSTIC 1

❏

EXIT

Select CONFIG BOARD 1.

Press Enter to configure the board.

The NIC Board Setup screen appears. It includes:
